Einstein at meteorological department

Father: when I was a child coconut oil will freeze in December and now it is not.

Son: my teacher has told that coconut oil will freeze at 25 degrees and 

nowadays the temperature is around 40.

Einstein: the  temperature has risen only point one degree and not like common man feels.


தாத்தா:  நான் சின்னக் குழந்தையா இருந்தப்போ தேங்காயெண்ணை மார்கழி மாதத்திலே கெட்டி ஆயிரும். ஆனால் இப்போல்லாம் அப்படி ஆறதில்லே.
பேரன்:   தாத்தா எங்க வாத்தியார் சொன்னாரு, முப்பது வருஷம் முன்னாடியெல்லாம் மார்கழி மாதத்திலே பதினைஞ்சு டிக்ரி வரை வருமாம்.  இப்போ முப்பது டிக்ரிக்குக் கீழே இறங்குறது இல்லையாம்.
ஈன்ஸ்டீன்:  கடந்த முப்பது வருடங்களில் உலகின் உஷ்ணம் புல்லி ஒரு டிகிரி மட்டுமே குறைந்துள்ளது.  பொது மக்கள் சொல்வது கற்பனை ஆகும்.

adip perukku and Gayathri japam come on the same day

This year the “adip perukku” (the flood in Cauvery river) and “Gayathri japam” (moola mantra for knowledge) (upakarma sankalpam) (Avani Avittam) come on the same day. Even though there is no water in Cauvery river, local Pallavan Kulam has water. People do the rituals. இந்த வருடம் ஆடிப் பெருக்கும் காயத்ரி ஜெபமும் ஒரே நாளில் வந்தது. காவேரியில்தான் தண்ணீர் இல்லை. உள்ளூர் பல்லவன் குளத்தில் தண்ணீர் இருந்தது.
